Frustrated, she returns to her village. There, a childhood friend, Cascabel, a composer too, is not willing to give up music. The impositions of their families, a possessive and jealous father who made a bracelet with a bell to control his daughter, and a very oppressive rural atmosphere represent a hazard for the plan Cascabel has conceived to reach her dreams.
