Synopsis:

Larita, Ernest Hemingway's neighbor in Havana in 1956, is a very humble young woman struggling to finish her high school studies to join the university. She is reading the book "The Old Man and the Sea" and in her privacy she makes a parallelism between the history of old fisherman Santiago and her own life.
