Synopsis:

Isabella of Castille sends her daughter Juana to Flanders to marry Philip the Handsome. It is a marriage of convenience to ensure a dynastic alliance between the Catholic Monarchs and the Emperor of Germany Maximilian I.
When they first met, there arises an irresistible attraction among them, which will soon be overshadowed by Felipe's infidelities, Juana's jealousy attacks and the intrigues of the court.

Based on the play "Locura de amor", by Manuel Tamayo y Baus.
