Synopsis:
Mararía is a beautiful young girl who lives on the island of Lanzarote, her dream is to leave the island and see the world. Fermín is a doctor destined to the island who tries that people lose their fear to medicine. Later, a handsome English reporter, Bertrand, comes to the island. Fermín has to leave the island when the Civil War (1936-1939) begins. However, on his return tragedy bursts when love, jealousy and passion intersect between these three characters.
Based on the novel by Rafael Arozarena.
